Don’t be fooled by the light colour of the Royal Icing powder. When the powder is wet, the icing will darken close to the final colour. As the Royal Icing dries, the colour will darken to be pure black.

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. For stiff peak, shell border piping, frosting and stencilling, add approximately 18ml of water to 100g of Royal Icing.
2. For fine piping, writing, run out work and cornelli work, add approximately 22ml of water to 100g of Royal Icing.
3. Add Royal Icing powder to the mix until the right consistency is achieved.
4. Do not overmix.
5. Colour will darken as it dries.
